Longs, South Carolina  is west of North Myrtle Beach and close to everything. The primary roads of Hwy 9, Hwy 905, and Hwy 90 have seen major development in the past seven years. Since many out-of-towner's do not know about the area the cost of homes and property is still less than the majority of areas along the "Grand Strand". In 2010 new construction single family homes can be found for under $150,000. Closer to the beach brings prices up but there is still a large selection for under $200,000. Stores and businesses have discovered the prime location. Hwy 9 is the northern entry point for the true Myrtle Beach by-pass, Hwy 31 which goes south to Hwy 544 near Surfside Beach.  The Main Street Connector brings Main Street / Robert Edge Parkway in North Myrtle Beach over to Hwy 90.

Longs is a favorite area for showing real estate because of the variety available.  Buyers are seldom disappointed.
