Garden City Beach is an unincorporated community that lies partly in Horry County and partly in Georgetown County. A mix of vacation homes and high-rise condos. The Garden City Pier is a favorite landmark. Some areas of Garden City view the tidal marshes and the waters of Murrells Inlet while other areas are directly on the ocean. The population is approximately 9,350 people.
Garden City is located seven miles south of Myrtle Beach and close to all the area has to offer. Fishing, crabbing, boating and water sports make this town a favoritie for those who love the water.
