Lunch or Dinner at the South End of Myrtle Beach:

Try Beef 'O' Brady's a family sports pub just south of Wicked Stick golf course at 8703 Hwy 17 Bypass S. in the center with Bonefish and Dunkin Donut.  It's west of Surfside Beach but has a Myrtle Beach address.  I had a 1/2 sandwich and salad combo that was so good I came home and put this entry in my website.

Lunch or Dinner at the North End:

Just before you enter North Carolina a favorite Greek Salad was found at Papas Pizza  "Pizza is great also" Shopping Center with Lowes Foods between Hwys 17 and 179 (Just before the North Carolina state line)  Little River, South Carolina

Road sign for Barefoot Resort Bar and Grill If you are in Barefoot Resort try the Barefoot Resort Sports Bar and Grill located at 5183 Barefoot Resort Bridge Road.  A relaxing place for a cool drink and some good food.  They even have brick oven pizza. Brick oven pizza from Barefoot Resort Bar and Grill

My Favorite Deli and Bakery Places:

It took several years before I discovered some of the best sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked-goods in the area so maybe this will save you some time when you visit the Myrtle Beach area.

If you visit The Market Common at the south end of Myrtle Beach between Hwy 17 Business and Bypass there are two deli's to try.  One is sitting back from the road on the corner of Farrrow Pkwy and Shine Ave.  The other someone told me about called New England Deli is within the Market Common shops.  Both use Boars Head lunchmeat just to give you a hint how good their sandwiches taste.

 Sunset Beach, North Carolina
Sunset Gourmet located in The Village at Sunset
Hwys 904 and 179 Bus., Sunset Beach, NC
(Behind Food Lion)   “Everything is fresh and tastes fantastic” They also offer gourmet coffee and espresso. A WI-FI Hotspot if you can't leave your laptop at home while on vacation.

Calabash Deli and Bakery

Hwy 179 (Just north of Callahans Nautical Gifts) Calabash, NC with fantastic sandwiches and baked goods.

 Little River Deli
Hwy 9 (Heading west from Hwy 17) Little River, SC A favorite of everyone who has tried their sandwiches, salads or baked goods.
