Hwy. 17 runs parallel with the Atlantic Ocean throughout most of the U.S..   Shallotte is located just west of Hwy. 17 about a 30 minute drive north of the North and South Carolina State line.

A southern town that has retained much of yesterday's charm with the Mom & Pop businesses not worried about the national chain place across the street.  Home cooking, fresh produce and charm are Shallotte and Shallotte is only minutes from beaches and everything the Myrtle Beach area has to offer.
